As the picture below indicates, a gardener had to have coined the phrase. There were hundreds of grubs like these that came from compost that was sifted before being added to the garden. The grubs are great nibblers in the compost bin, but I wouldn't want them in the garden where they could feed on tender young plant roots. [ Back ]
